Visuals:Vision :: Moments:Milestones

“God has reserved momentous victories and great rewards for us. But we’ll never make it to our milestones if we can’t make it through our moments.”
 –Breaking Free Bible Study by Beth Moore

  I’m tempted to just allow that quote to stand on it’s on this week. I strongly believe, that statement can minister to so many women in so many places. I don’t want to ‘muddy’ it’s meaning for you so all I will simply say this week is go deeper sister…

1.     Challenge yourself to identify that thing as a moment. Identifying it as a single moment may quiet your racing, rising heart. It may give you peace and patience to wait on God in that moment. It may force you to reevaluate your emotions, passions and feelings in that moment. It may encourage you to just let it go, to reserve your energy for a better suited environment. It may give you a fresh perspective and remind you of God’s great rewards that are on the other side of that single ‘moment’.

2.     Consider the many moments we face in life. Those times that were simply meant to be a moment that we allowed to linger, or consume our attention and our being longer than necessary. And then, ask God if this moment signifies a Necessary Ending?

3.     Have compassion for your sister/brother who may be in a ‘moment’ that is clouding their vision of future milestones. Pray for her/him. Encourage them in God’s word; Give them hope to keep going. Simply put; just give others Grace!

If you personally or If you know a sister that needs a fresh perspective of God’s ability beyond the present moment, please pray this prayer

Father God, thank you for your presence. Thank you for your word, in this very moment. Forgive me God for the times I can’t see you because my attention is on my ‘moment’.  I ask you now Lord to renew my mind. Give me a fresh perspective. Impart wisdom into my circumstance, peace in my storm and patience to wait on your plans to prosper me and not to harm me to give me a future and a hope. I thank you for a milestone perspective Father. I thank you for friends and family who will help me keep my world quiet, so I can hear your whisper. I thank you God for thinking I was worth saving, worth dying for. In Jesus name, AMEN!
