When Loving you, Requires me to Love HIM Less.

Greetings Sisters,

I've been eager to write this entry for a few days. Eager because there are times God will give me a word for #AWE that is especially for me. I've needed today's revelation for the past 7 months and I trust that God has placed it on my heart because one of my sisters needs it TODAY. Because I needed this word so desperately, I'm going to heavily quote the source that revealed it to me, because I don't want to risk 'muddying' up the revelation with my personal 'investment'.

I've made the following statement many, many times in recent months.

"I don't understand how someone who loves God, can hurt someone so selfishly."

To give you context this statement was made regarding the persons relationship with Christ, their relationship with me and their actions towards me.

REVELATION:

"...It means most Christians have a non-Christian worldview. 

You may be a Christian and headed for Heaven, 

but you can also have a non-Christian worldview

 because you've based it on what you've learned from the world

 and not from the Word." -Rick Warren

Now what is 'worldview'?

"It's how you see God, yourself, others, the past, present, and future, money, time, good and evil. It influences everything in your life. Every time you make a decision you access the worldview database in your mind and decide that, because you believe this, this is what you're going to do." -Rick Warren

Sisters, Time changes, the world changes but God's word does not change. HE is consistent. His word does not have an expiration date and God's expectation of us is that we STAND UP for HIS WORD. 

"Stand up for me against world opinion and I'll stand up for you 

before my Father in heaven. If you turn tail and run, 

do you think I'll cover for you?" Matthew 10:32

I pray you take a couple things away from today's word. 

• I pray it gives you grace to forgive those who love God and you, but knowingly or un-knowingly serve worldview over God's word. Matthew 6:14-15
• I pray you wrap your expectations of people in GOD. What I mean is, lay every desire you posses at HIS feet. Allow Him to work on your heart and HE will align your desires appropriately. Psalm 37:4
• I pray you guard your heart.  Proverbs 4:23 For not everyone that loves God, knows HIM. Matthew 7:22-23
• I pray you STAND and DO NOT RUN! it's not easy to be a Christian. It's not easy to challenge someone else's worldview. It's not easy to challenge your own worldview. It's not easy to be challenged for doing what God said to do. but 'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.' Romans 12:2

  I pray sisters that you received the freedom for yourselves that I received. The freedom to be exactly who God is calling you to be. The freedom to say these are my values and what HE thinks is most valuable to me. God has a promise for each of us. He calls us at different times but never will HE link you to someone who will compromise your call. You must surrender your desires to HIM. Let go when HE says let go, pray when HE says pray, Forgive when there is unforgiveness and most importantly practice the greatest commandment; to love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul. Police yourself daily by asking yourself "God is this pleasing in your sight?" His plans are so perfect concerning you. Be careful sisters, 'Don't settle for the good thing, Wait for the GOD THING.' -Pastor Toure Roberts
