Often we are called into assignments that seem "bigger" than us. So where do you start? I start with what I call a "Qualifying Scripture" in other words, a scripture that says " HE's got me, so I'm good". One of my favorite 'Qualifying Scriptures' is Romans 8:30
Here's the thing sister, if it doesn't involve risk, it probably doesn't involve FAITH.
First I pray YOU begin to see God as THE QUALIFIER!
So when you feel a tug. When you hear a whisper. When that desire won't die. When you're uneasy consistently. When the plans you had just don't excite you anymore. Begin to seek out those 'Qualifying Scriptures' because chances are, HE is about to require you to trust HIM a lil more.
Second I pray YOU begin to see God as THE QUALIFIER!
(Don't worry it's not the same as the first step.)
There will be times when you're in between assignment. Which means God isn't challenging you outside of your comfort zone at the moment. But, know HIM to be the ONLY Qualifier to your sisters.
BE a person others can trust with their dreams. It doesn't have to make sense to you because you are not 'the qualifier' but you know HIM, so you always know what to do. Pray your sister into her purpose. I have a handful of people who If I say "OK, so tomorrow I'm going to take over the world" their response would be "Awesome, DO IT! What do you need from me?" That may seem radical to some but they KNOW that HIS thoughts are not our thoughts, HIS ways are not our ways and they trust HIS plans concerning my life, so they know how to support me in HIM.
Third I pray YOU begin to see God as THE QUALIFIER!
(Don't worry it's not the same as the first two steps.)
"When you are qualified the dictionary says you are officially recognized as being trained to perform a particular job; certified." So I get it, maybe you are used to receiving a certificate, diploma, degree that says OK NOW, you're ready. So do me a favor, grab your nearest Bible, hold it up and say out loud "NOW I'm ready." I know your "next"can be scary because it's unknown, but that's why step one was for you to know HIS ability through HIS WORD. With HIM ALL things are possible.
If you find yourself feeling less than qualified pray this prayer:
Father, I think you're calling me and I know if you're calling me I must be ready. So God I'm giving YOU my YES. Train me, prepare me and take me where YOU can use me. I am surrendering all Lord, Withholding nothing, for I know you hold my world in your hands. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
